ABOUT MISS SARANAC

MISS SARANAC PROGRAM offers the following:

​

​

~includes workshops in basic money management, health and beauty, resume writing, planning a community event, and learning the history of Saranac

​

~team bonding times like a Getting To Know You party, float decorating party, Christmas party, cooking party, and getting to work on fundraisers together

​

~community service events like serving pancakes, serving cookies and cocoa, serving at the Boston Historical Society tea, and volunteering at the Ionia Animal Shelter; as well as collaborating with and serving with other committees

​

~public speaking experience at a school board meeting, a Lion's Club meeting, a Historical Society meeting, and an Athletic Boosters meeting

​

~participating in Saranac community events and parades and Queen's Teas with our neighbors Belding, Ionia, Lowell, Clarksville, and Lake Odessa

​

​

The crowns and tiaras are fun to wear, you win prize money to put in a savings account, you win other prizes, too.

Every pageant participant gets to be a part of all of this for the entire year; even if you do not win or place on the court.

 

And, it is all FREE!
