Rules to Compete

​

1. Contestant must reside in Saranac zip code, or go to Saranac schools.

​

2. Contestant must be going into Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade, and a female.

​

3. Guardian of contestant must agree and sign a photo release. The press may be interested in the events the Miss Saranac program attends.

​

4. When attending events with the Miss Saranac program, crown and sash must be worn, unless told otherwise by a member of the board.

​

5. There will be no refunds of the entry fee. If there are extenuating circumstances, we as a board may reconsider this decision, on a case by case basis.

How to Compete - Two Ways to Win

​

1. Peoples choice: Each contestant has to opportunity to bring a personalized box, or container, to collect peoples choice donations. The contestant with the largest monetary donation will be crowned Princess of Saranac. All donations go back into the Miss Saranac program, helping us bring workshops and other events to the young women of Saranac.

2. Random drawing: Each contestant, with entry fee, has their contestant number added to a raffle drawing. Only 1 entry per contestant. Winner will be drawn by a member of the Miss Saranac committee. If the contestant drawn is the peoples choice winner, a new contestant will be drawn.  Winner will be crowned Little Miss Saranac.
